Hello friends,
This is my first blog. Maybe it's a new beginning for me. So today i will be talking about Asus India's amazing creation called Vivobook S15 and how it will be beneficial for me. With a price tag of 59,990, it is definately a good competion to the HP and Dell laptops. I was planning to buy a laptop, but my budget is 50,000. So clearly Vivobook S15 was not an option. But then Mumbiker Nikhil declared this giveaway and i was super happy. An i7 processor would definately serve my purpose much better than the i5 processor laptops i was looking at.
Talking about me, i am a final year student of computer engineering in Pune. My passions include riding, trekking, music and basketball. Riding being the sole reason because of which i started watching Nikhil's video ( Not saying Nikhil sir because he does not like it). My computer engineering course demands a lot of coding practise of Android and other programming languages. Out of all, i like to work on Android Studio, but it requires a lot of processing power. An i7 processor would definately make it easy.
I usually take my bike (Apache RTR200) to a scenic spot some 40 kms from my house and take out my laptop (Acer aspire V5), and do coding. This allows me to ride and practise my coding as well. So a lightweight thin laptop is a perfect match for my use. I can carry it easily in my bag without hurting my shoulders. A bulky laptop surely does hurt your shoulder. A choice of lightweight Vivobook S15 is definately good keeping in mind that we are out for buying a laptop and not a dumpbell.
In my life full of hustle-bustle, a fastcharging electronic item is definately a good choice. I have a mobile phone with dash charger, so all i need is a laptop with fast charging. Again Vivobook S15 serves the purpose.
Lately a race has begun between the electronic companies to manufacture bezel-less laptops. And why not. Afterall who doesn't love a bezel-less laptop. Asus has taken a big leap in this race by introducing the Vivobook S15 with 80% screen-to-body ratio. 80% screen-to-body ratio is almost like a bezel-less screen.
In the fast life of youth, who wants to enter a long password or a pin manually everytime to open the laptop. Frankly i hate entering passwords. Fingerprint is the best solution for me. Simply tap the powerbutton, touch the fingerprint scanner and there you go. It is so easy and secure. If i get this laptop, the only problem i am gonna face is how to tackle people who say "Bhai mera fingerprint lagane de na tere laptop pe." Although i am sure i can tackle that.
Also i have my sister's wedding on the 15th of july in delhi. The sad part is that my grandmother is admitted in the hospital in Pune and she can't attend the wedding. She is not allowed to travel. My family knows how badly she wanted to attend the wedding and watch her granddaughter getting married. Ofcourse, it must be a dream of every grandparent to watch their grandchildern ("aankhon ke taare" as it is usually referred to) getting married. I have promised my grandmom that i will record the complete wedding, and show the video to her. I have promised her that she won't miss any part of the wedding. The problem here is that the laptop which i currently use won't be able to support video editing softwares properly. A laptop with an i7 processor and 16 GB RAM would help me in that. Again Vivobook S15 serves the purpose.
